Prof. Zhong-Rong ZHOU obtained his PhD at the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France, in 1992. He joined the Southwest Jiaotong University in 1997, and has been a director of School of Mechanical Engineering since 2005. His research interests include bio-tribology, fretting-wear and fretting-fatigue, friction-induced noise and rolling contact. He has published more than 100 scientific papers including topical review papers in various international journals.
